Hi,
Is there any way to find out the files send to and from a mainframe ?
We use FTP and I am wondering whether FTP keeps a track of all datasets it processes ?
Thanks

Sreejith,
The FTP step Sysprint contains the files transmitted . ex :From the FTP step Sysprint check for EZA1736I messages for outgoing file names.

Kolusu,
Thanks. The Sysprint option means I need to go thru all the FTP jobs in SAR. Another problem is for the files FTP'd to the mainframe from other systems will not have a sysprint to look into. I am guessing there will be some system log on the mainframe to find out all the file sent and received.
Thanks

Sreejith,
We browse the job libraries, CCLIB libraries to find all the PUT's and GET's to get these datasets - However, on a day, if we were asked to find this information, I believe we'll have to go against SAR and get the information. Meanwhile, if you get any information on browsing the log and getting the information, please let us know as it seems to be an interesting option.
