What exactly do you mean by the BACK DOOR to mainframes? |

Are you looking for the undocumented interface that lets you access the system undetected from anywhere on the Internet and snoop into any file you want?

If you a develop a workaround to the FRONT DOOR, you would be looking at the BACK DOOR. _________________ “In war, resolution; in defeat, defiance; in victory, magnanimity” ~ Winston Churchill |

And in my house, there is no back door. There are two front doors side by side and for accessing any of them, you need to ring the bell.

The name "Scotland Yard" has a similar explanation, right? Their back door (?) opened in Sctoland, I guess. I may be incorrect, but, I am sure, the origin of the name Scotland Yard is more or less along the lines of back door and front door. _________________ ALL opinions are welcome.

Cogito-Ergo-Sum,
Actually, when the Metropolitan Police Force was established in London in the early 19th Century, the task of organizing the police force was carried at 4, Whitehall Place, the back door of which opened to the courtyard which had been the site of a residence owned by the Kings of Scotland and known as Scotland Yard.
Hence, the name.
