Hai All,

I have a dataset which is 1000 bytes and to see the data colum wise i give "COLS" on the command prompt.I give PFF11 to scroll the data to to the right side to see the rest of the data by repatative PF11 .Is there any command where in i can reach to a particular column directly for example if i need to go to COLS 850 , any command is there which will lead me to cols 850 instead of doing PF11 ?

shekar123,

to move to a particular column or line, key the number of columns/lines you want to go to and press PF7/PF8/PF10/PF11 depending on forward/backward/left or right.

cheers
