Guyz, Sorry about this very basic question.

I am not sure about the prior version of DB2 databases. In V5 onwards I know that in DB2 we may or may not have the primary key in a table.

But, was there any restriction prior to V5 - that DB2 table must have a primary key always?

Ogv,

The manual for DB2 V4 says that the primary key is OPTIONAL when creating a table. I am not sure about the prior versions
