Hi,

I am taking the dump of couple of datasets into a tape dataset using the ADDRDSSU utility. Is there any way to findout what are all the datasets present in the tape dump dataset with out restoring those datasets?

Run restore job with PARM='TYPRUN=NORUN'

It has not displayed the list of datasets present in the dump dataset.

Runnin a RESTORE job with exec pgm=adrdssu,PARM='TYPRUN=NORUN'

will simulate a restore and will generate a list of datasets that are to be restored.
