|
|
Hi,
I have found the following things in the Syncsort usage.
JOINKEYS FILES=F1,FIELDS=(5,10,A)
JOINKEYS FILES=F2,FIELDS=(1,10,A)
REFORMAT FIELDS=(F1:01,2652,
The material I am having does not show all these details. May I know how to get the Syncsort material to know these latest techniques.
Please help.
Thanks in advance. _________________ MF

mf_user,
Joinkeys is a new feature which was incorporated in syncsort version 1.2. Run a sample sort step and check the sysout. The first line of sysout gives the version of syncsort you are running.
Hope this helps...
Cheers

Thanks for the info. I believe this won't work for us. Because we run "SYNCSORT FOR Z/OS 1.1DR TPF3A". _________________ MF
