sorry guys, newbie here and i dont know where to post this topic...

i have these problem about xpediter DDIO (i think).

On using xpediter, we must have our own DDIO.. i created one. then i used the "convert jcl" facility of xpediter and convert my batch jcl to xpediter.. no problem encountered there.. then, i used the same "convert jcl" facility to convert my online jcl and what happens is "no source found." is it because im using only a single DDIO for both online and batch jcl? should i create a new DDIO for my online projects..

thanks in advance...

I don't know what are the rules in Xpediter's manual, but from what I saw in few shops - they have separate files for TSO and CICS.

Hi piey,

The basic reason for this issue is that, when u r testing the Batch program in the Xpeditor we can specify our own DDIO path and the desired LOADLIB however when we are going to test the Online program we cannot specify our own LOADLIB and DDIO path.. because when we are testing the Online application what happens is that the application is invoked using the Trans ID or the Fastpath and then only we can start the testing process in Xpediter and the LOADLIB for this online application would be assigned automatically by the Xpediter using the Trans ID or the Fastpath which is in the CICS region... hope this would help u.. any more queries pls do get back...

Thanks & Regards,
