By knowing the program name in CICS, can we able to find its Transaction Id?

Hi kolusu,
when i tried to find the tran-id for a program using the above syntax
I am geting an error like

STATUS: RESULTS - OVERTYPE TO MODIFY
Tra(* ) Pro(ZMOMIM90)

What may be the reason??

Aquarian,

Does the program ZMOMIM90 exist? If you give a non-existant program you would get such results.

Make sure that you supply the right program name.

Yep ...that was an online program
It was not submited by any JCL ..but was invoked by a transaction-id.

Not all programs defined to CICS need have a transaction id associated with it. A program might be only defined to CICS using a PPT entry. It may not be directly invoked from a transaction but may be linked to from another online program.
