Hi,
I searched in the forum but i was not able to get scope termination in cobol.i am having a doubt whether scope termination in cobol is exiting a section or exiting a program or exiting a paragraph.
Thanks

Hi Venkat,
Bye scope terminators what exactly you want? Can u please elaborate.
Otherwise, scope terminators like END-IF will end an IF-ELSE loop and you can also use a full stop (.) in place of END-IF as scope terminator.
Also you can use END-PERFORM to terminate and In-line perform or else and END-EVALUATE to terminate an EVALUATE statement in COBOL.
Hope this helps you...
Cheers,
Ayash |
