Please tell in Intertest & Smarttest which one is better?

It depends on the environment you are trying to use. Does your shop need batch debugging (mostly COBOL/PLI/Assembler) applications as well as our online IMS/CICS applications?

SmartTest was easy to use for batch and it is fairly easy to learn. The cost of the product range from $9,500-45,000. Smarttest wasn't that good for Online debugging.

Intertest is very good for online debugging. It is quite similar to xpediter and the licence cost is half the cost of Xpediter.Both products are very similar both in how you set break points, keeps and so on and execution control functions. The ABEND feedback from InterTest is quite helpful.

So we really cannot recommend one or another, unless we are sure of the environment you are have . Ideally I would suggest SmartTest for batch and Intertest for Online debugging. Also consider the cost and support before you make a decision.
