Hi,

Given a Cobol DB2 Application which has NO Commits or Rollbacks
I have 10 update SQLs, first 5 updates are successful.
when executing 6th update it aborted.
Will only this 6th SQL be Rolledback automatically or the whole Unit of work ?

Thanks.

everything will be rolled back if you don't commit in between.

I don't think so. Only 6th SQL update will be rolled back.

schintala,

If there was NO COMMIT/Syncpoint/Checkpoint issued in between and 6th update aborted the pgm , All the updates from 1 will be rolled back as the entire thing is 1 single unit of work.
