I encounted two strange problems with PCOMM.
btw I am using English Win2K and PCOMM 5.7 for Simplified Chinese.

The first problem is:
I can set code page to 037 United States when my locale is Chinese(PRC)
while it failed when my locale is English(United States).

But what puzzles me is that I can sucessfully set the code page 037 United
States with English(United States) locale by doing:
a). When locale is Chinese(PRC),set code page to 037 United States;
b). Change loacle to English(United States).

Any suggestion or explain for this is helpful for me?Thanks.

btw:
Sorry ,I just know that this issue does not belong to this board.But I can find a proper place to post it.So sorry!

I thought the default code page for pcomm on a US locale was 037 or 1047 (?). But your work around sounds OK.

The default code page for pcomm on a US locale is 037 or 1047.

My problem is that I need to change code page form 1388(for Simplified Chinese PCOMM) to 037(English PCOMM) on a Chinese(PRC) loacle.But I fail...

Hi videlord.

Host Code Page setting:
Communication=>Configure...=>Session Parameters
Loacel setting:
Conrol Panel => Region and .....

Maybe you can find them there if you used common OS and PCOMM. Rolling Eyes

I had figure it out.
This is a defect on PCOM 5.7 GM build.
Upgrade PCOMM build level to latest as PCOM5.7 MR4 (20050906),we will solve this problem!
