Endevor..there is no speciic library for production programs..

we have to download for impact analysis for doing a mass change project.

				| The standard "tool" which is used to "extract" programs from Endevor, is literally Endevor itself. As for Panvalet, you can do this with batch JCL.
Unless someone is jumbling up test and production programs into the same library (and no Endevor Administrator with even one gram of skill would do this), then of course there will be a separate production library. It just may not be obvious to you.

File-aid can be used to copy from panavalet libraries.

 Hope this helps...

If this is what you are really after, then you might be interested in Option 2 from the User Menu for ACMQ. Endevor automatically maintains a cross-reference.

				| thought Fileaid wont work for panvalet libaries and never looked in that way
 Thanks kolusu.That was really helpful.

I was using PAN#1 batch jcl. PAN#1 job downloads the include libraries as well if present in the same libarary.

I am still wondering how do we download from endevor.
We dont have a standard cobol libraries to pick up from..

 How is "endeveor itself" used??

The Option 2 from the User Menu for ACMQ gives me error message "invalid option"

				| rsivananda,

Endevor itself uses Panavalet libraries to store the source. so If you know the names of the source datasets , you can go use the panavalet program pan#1 and fileaid to extract the programs

 Hope this helps...

 Cheers
