Hi,
Could any one clear my doubt.
Actually 2 vars are there.
77 A PIC S9(9)V99 COMP-3 VALUE 0.
77 B PIC S9(9)V99.
Let us assume A has LOWVALUES.
1.When i move this A to B what are the values of A & B.
Now let us assume B has LOWVALUES.
1.When i move B to A what are the values of A & B.
why iam asking is, i want to check in any one of the move any possibility is there to get ASRA abend? |

ASRA abend is associated with CICS as far as I know.
If it is a simple COBOL pgm, there is no chance of getting that error. |

sunnybunny,
You get an ASRA abend for any data exception problem SOC7, SOC4 etc . In your case if the value of A is corrupted it would result in Soc7.
