How to match two files based on a key ?

There are several ways to merge / match two datasets.

For users running syncsort version 1.2 and above - you can use the JOIN feature.

Try this match logic

If you want to a Cartesian join of 2 datasets, then DFSORT SPLICE can come in handy.
