What version of ISPF are you running? The Member command was introduced sometime around z/OS 1.2 around 2001, or probably the release before that, so your system should have it unless you are running an out of support system. If your system is older than that, have a look at the "Find member in DSLIST" page listed in the ISPF extensions at the ISPF and z/OS Tools and Toys page. |

Thanks Semiqeezer for the info.I checked in my shop in ISPF option 7.3 and and we are using
Code: |
Variable P A Value
ZENVIR S N ISPF 5.0MVS TSO
ZISPFOS S N ISPF FOR OS/390 02.10.00
ZOS390RL S N OS/390 02.10.00
|
It seems that i am using OS/390 and not z/os,so i guess my shop has older version. So i tried the Rexx code "Find member in DSLIST" page listed in the ISPF extensions at the ISPF and z/OS Tools and Toys page and i do have any knowledge on REXX.So i created a PS and pasted the code and gave a EX Command
Code: |
EX TECH022.REXX.EXEC
|
But i get the following message
Code: |
NO MEMBER PATTERN SPECIFIED
***
|
I get a message
Code: |
TECH022.REXX.EXEC EX RC=0 DSKAT1
|
Please let me know how should i go about it ? _________________ Shekar

Shekar, you didn't read the instructions properly. The syntax is:
TSO FINDMEM pattern
where pattern is a member name or member pattern.
and you haven't added the pattern to search for. _________________ The day you stop learning the dinosaur becomes extinct |
