Hi all,
While we are exporting QMF report to a dataset, we see some
numbers like
"H QMF 13 R 01 E V W E R 02 03 05/11/14 09:01
V 1001 006 PERIOD
V 1002 003 016
T 1010 022 006 1013 005 1014 006 1015 006 1016 006 1017 006 1012 008
R C 000001 000003 000018 000001
R TD 000019 000021 000030 000001
R L 000031 000033 000038 000001
R L 000039 000041 000047 000001 "
before the data we wanted.Do they convey any meaning ?
Plz explain.
Thanks,
Mouriyan |

I don't know what exactly you tried to Export using QMF.
But as far as I know if you Export a Query resultset/Report(F12) then The first line will say the Header Information of the QMF and the version you are using, the data and time it was created(H in the first column).
The second row says that your report is having some N no. of columns.(T in the first column)
From the 3rd row it will display the Columns and its length and what type they are. (C in the first column)
384 --> Date column (yyyy-mm-dd).
452 --> Char it also gives the length.
496 --> Integer
500 --> Small Int
Then starts the Data column. (D in the first column).
I was analysing the output of the below.
Quote: | HIXF0000QMF V6R1M02005060701220800025N -->QMF Version and date the datatime was exported.
T18 DB2 CCI00007 --> 07 represents the column count
C07DATE_COL NYNR38400000 000002 00
C05INT_1_COL NYNR49600000 000013 00
C14INT_2_COL NYNR49600000 000025 00

D 2005-05-27 0000210771 0000000058 CS N 01500 0000101518

Hope this helps. |
