I want to write a TSQ of length 10411, but the LENGTH parameter must be an identifier of PIC S9999 COMP (half word). How can I get the value of 10411 into it?
The following attempts don't work:
Value clause
- Moving a literal into it
- Moving full word identifier into it
- Leaving out the LENGTH parameter
- Using FLENGTH

Lyndall,

Add the following line as the first line in your program(ie before ID division)

Code:

CBL TRUNC(BIN)

Check this link which explains the compile parameter TRUNC

Hope this helps..
