Hi,

I have idms working record(it's very huge record). But some of the 05 level fields are not according to the cobol standards. So if I compile with that COPY IDMS 'reocrd name' , then I am getting the errors. Is there any way that I can disable/inactive those fields which are not according to the cobol standards.

Please let me know if I am not clear..

Thanks
Anand

I would say you would have to talk to the IDMS DBA and have them update the IDD in your IDMS install (where this copy book comes from) if the IDD copy is causing compile errors.

Hope this helps.
