HI,
I wish to know why do we use MAXQ parameter in PSBGEN in IMS. I tried to find the info in google but i didn't get an answer that i can use. Please provide this.

MAXQ parm on the PSBGEN is the maximum number of database calls with Qx command codes that can be issued between synchronization points. If this number is exceeded, the application program will abend. The default value is zero.
