Hi,
Where is the syslog dataset defined?
What is the naming convention for it?

It is named in the system PARMLIB member CONSOLxx on the HARDCOPY stmnt. Either an actual printer address or "SYSLOG" is specified to receive LOG messages. According to MVS Init. and Tuning Reference manual, it doesn't look like you can change the name. _________________ Regards,
