How can we create a new version of GDG through rexx?

I have given the following code but it is not working.

LOGFILE1 = "TOSDI.SDIC600.PRDTBL.LOG(+1)",
Address TSO "ALLOC F(PRDTBLOG) DA('"LOGFILE1"')",
"SPACE(1,5) UNIT(TESTDA) TRACK RECFM(F B)",
"LRECL(80) BLKSIZE(9040) NEW CATLG "

Please advise.

DHL_MF_INFY,

Please search before posting. Please post your topics to the right forum. This is an application programming. Down below you will find "TSO ISPF" forum. You need to post your question in there.

Check these links which discuss allocating current gdg generation using rexx

Hope this helps...
