Hi,

I need to understand the assembly listing that gets created when i compile my PL/I program with LIST option. I can understand the basic mnemonics LA, ST,STM MVI etc.

But it shows some operands like #MX_TEMP1(,r13,152),
,_Anchor_11(,r2,12) etc..

Could anyone give me the link for a manual that helps one to understand this listing. A very detailed one if there is one

Regards,
Nash

nash_s,

Check this link which explains in detail about the machine instructions.

Hope this helps...

Thanks for the link. It is useful as a reference manual. Is there a guide on mnemonics or how to decipher the assembler listing that happens during compilation

Thanks,
Nash
