rakshith,

Oops I meant option 5 (batch) from ISPF main menu not option 6.

1.select option 5 from ispf main menu
2. select option 19 on the next panel
3. provide a job card at the bottom of the screen and press enter
4. provide the pds containing your C++ code and press
5. Now type END and a job will submitted in the background.
6. Now look in SDSF for the compile job and type SJ besides it and you have the generated compile JCL

Hope this helps...

Cheers

rakshith,

You can also check this

http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/CBCUG130/2.2?DT=20040610181920

Section 2.2.2 shows an example of compiling, binding and running a z/os c++ example.

Hope this helps...

Cheers
