Hi All,
I am hoping someone may be able to help. I am trying to create a batch job that will create me a report similar to the one I can get using ISMF panels (Dataset Lists, showing space usage etc).
I have tried to use the example JCL available from option 11.7.1 (Create dataset list and and generate dataset report). I have got the job to run, but the oputput of the report is not what I was hoping. Has anyone used this sample JCL that may be able to help point me in the right direction?
Thanks
James Sad

James_thompson,

can you give us a sample of your desired output ? May be we can suggest an alternative way of getting the desired results.

You can also use IEHLIST utility to list the entries of VTOC. check this link for a detailed explanation of IEHLIST utility.

Also check this manual link for using ISMF

Hope this helps...
