Nadh,

DB2 is a product of IBM and Datacom is a product of CA. Both are similar in concept , however DB2 is much more robust product when compared to Datacom .DB2 has the ability to connect to diverse DBM's on various palatforms, as well you will find many developers who are skilled to develop applications using DB2.
