I have a PS file . I want to eliminate the data from columns 10 to 15 so that the data at 16th position starts at 10th position.

Hi,

Please refer to any DFSORT Manual .Use the OUTREC FUNCTION which will help ur cause.

In sysin use the following.

OUTREC=(1:1,9,10:16,10)

I have taken the length of the record as 25.
