Hai,

I am curiuos to know about JULIAN DATES why are they used in many DB2 programs .I understand the concept of DATE & TIME in Mainframes in the format od YYYY-MM-DD & HH.MM.SS. Can anyone guide me about the proper usage of JULIAN DATES about how to use ,why to use and where to use.Where can i get a detail information regarding JULIAN DATES ?
