				| Jayaram99,
Assuming that your test and production DB2 regions are connected and you have the authority to access them , the following procedure will give you the desired results.

 1. Code the following query in QMF

  	  | Code: | |
 SELECT *
 FROM PROD_REGION.DBNAME.TABLE_NAME
 WHERE COND1 = ....

 |

PROD_REGION is the name of the production region on the main menu of QMF. on the main menu of QMF you will find the following info on the left side of your screen

  	  | Code: | | QMF HOME PANEL
 Version 7 Release 1

 Authorization ID
 TXXXXXX

 Connected to
 XXXDB2P

 |

PROD_REGION is the connected to name. Log on to your production region to find the name.

Now execute the query by pressing PF2. This will bring the data from production . Once you get the results type the following command on the command prompt of QMF

  	  | Code: | |
 SAVE DATA AS DBNAME.TABLE_NAME(ACTION=REPLACE

 |

If you want to append data instead of replacing the data you can use the following command

  	  | Code: | |
 SAVE DATA AS DBNAME.TABLE_NAME(ACTION=APPEND

 |

 Hope this helps...

 Cheers
