We currently have 3 DB2 subsystems running on z/OS, of which 2 are version 7 and one is version 8. Our programmers use DB2 Connect version 7 as the Windows client for connection to DB2. In order to connect to version 8, I have to install DB2 Connect version 8 on the client. Unfortunately, this installation disables the connections to version 7 DB2. Is there a way to allow DB2 Connect version 8 on a single client to connect to both version 7 and version 8 DB2 on z/OS?
