|
|
I have encountered EDF waits for several times:
A user task suspended with EDF-waits, but nobody debuging. That task cant purge out(even Force purge). So ... I must shutdown CICS. poor
I guess someone have set a Transaction EDF on, then he logout. Isn't it?
How to solve this problem?
Thanks. |

The Transaction CEDF should be protected (RACF) so that only selected users can use it. |

warp5,
yeah, it is a solution. BUT, we are in developing environment, the more protection the more inflexibility.
Another suggestion? Thanks. |

Take a look at how CEDF is defined - it may be non purgeable - you might want to define the transaction in your own group and make it purgeable. |
