lokam,

What kind of emulation software does your shop has now ? If your shop is using TN3270 then TN3270 will allow only sizes (24x80, 32x80, 43x80, 27x132)

Thanks

It depends on the site. If dynamic logmodes are set up (ok - that is the extent of my knowledge - I can say the words), and if your emulator lets you specify the screen size, the host should accept it. Most emulators will allow you to specify the screen size. IBM's Personal Communications can do it if you edit the .ws file that defines your session. Others, such as Tom Brennan's great Vista emulator have it as part of the user interface (I use both Pcomm and Vista daily). I haven't used any other non-Java emulator in years but I suspect that most will let you specify it. Whether the host will honor the setting is a different matter.
