Does anyone know of a good resource for analyzing the output of the L.E. Storage Report (RPTSTG)? |

Bithead,
Are you trying to tune the HEAP and STACK options using RPTSTG ?

Kolusu,
No. It is the same LPAR that we are upgrading to z/OS but a different scenario. The symptoms are the same but the first one was corrected by adding BLKSIZE parameters to the output DDs (DISP=SHR). This JCL has all DDs with DISP=NEW.
I am trying to tune the LE options and have run the report but I can't see where the problem is. |

We removed some of the files from the program and it is now running. I ran some analysis and I now believe that it was a stack problem rather than a heap failure. The failing routine was IGZEQOC (QSAM Open/Close).
I would still like to know how to tune the LE environment based on the storage report. |
