|
|
We are running z/OS 1.4. I have a user who has a sequential dataset and he is trying to find a value in it by using the command F XXX. It does not find the value but it is the file. If he renames the dataset, the find works. He is accessing the dataset in edit mode via 3.4. There does not appear to be an initial macro involved. I confirmed this by reviewing his variables via option 7.3 and there is no entry for ZDAEMAC.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? |

Bithead,
Does the user get a "not found" message? or "bottom of data reached" message?

somuk,
Thanks, we reset bounds and the find worked. Does anyone know where this information is stored in the user profile? When the dataset is renamed, the bounds does not go with it. |
