Has anyone had any experience with the NDM 'RUN TASK' process where the program accesses DB2? I talked with Sterling support but all they could tell me was that none of their customers had reported any problems in that area. Of course, they didnt know if anyone had even tried it. So there you go.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I can't say that I know the answer either, but it is sometimes helpful to think these things out logically first.

How would you invoke a program that uses DB2 from within an MVS address space? Would it be just a CALL or RUN statement?

FYI
A DB2 program can be the subject of an NDM 'RUN TASK' command. I have a process now that runs that way. I did use the DB2 Call Attachment Facility (CAF) to establish the connection to DB2 rather than IJKEFT01.
