Hi Board,
In our system IMS-DB has changed from VSAM to OSAM? What kind of the impact will be there on efficiency?

I think there is no impact to the Application Programs which are accessing.

OSAM should be faster except, possibly, for some sequential processing, although there are changes that can be made for this. Make sure that you change your buffer allocations in the VSAMBFP and DFSVSMxx members. No changes are needed for the program but and ACBs will need to be re-generated.
