				| Hi, I came across a JCL which has the following lines.
 *****************
 //STEPTH01  EXEC  THRSTR,JOB=G1JR10PD
 //*
 //JSTEP01 EXEC G1JR10P
 //*
 //STEPTH02  EXEC  THREND,JOB=G1JR10PD
 ****************

 I couldn't find THRED or THRSTR in my Proc.
 Can anyone please tell me whats the significance of these lines and
 can i skip them and run only JSTEP01 EXEC G1JR10P for my testing?

 Cheers.
 Ayush

				| Ayush,
 THRSTR and THREND are 2 procs which your job is execueting. So check the proclib for these procs.

 A simple way of finding the procs is submit your job with TYPRUN=SCAN. TYPRUN=SCAN causes JES to scan the job's JCL for syntax errors, but not to execute it. It will expand the procs also for you.

 Hope this helps...

 Cheers
