Fei123,
VTAM stands for Virtual Telecommunications Access Method which is an IBM licensed program that controls communication and the flow of data in an SNA (Systems Network Architecture) network. It provides single-domain, multiple-domain, and interconnected network capability.
LU stands for Logical Unit .
In Systems Network Architecture (SNA), a port through which an end user accesses the SNA network in order to communicate with another end user and through which the end useraccesses the functions provided by system services control points (SSCPs). A LU can support at least two sessions -- one with an SSCP and one with another LU -- and may be capable of supporting many sessions with other logical units.
Hope this helps...
Cheers

fei123,
My READ-FEI123-MIND crystal ball isn't that good. Can you be clear on what your question is?
