Hi All,

I am getting the following the error message when i try to specify the RETPD for a Tape.

CAY6806E RETPD IS ONLY PERMITTED IN RDS CATALOG STRUCTURE ENTRIES

Can any one throw light on what is this Error message and what is that RDS catalog

Used the Example Given in the following LInk

S_shivraj,

I guess your shop has CA-product for Tape management, since the error messages are with CAXXXX. You need to check with your systems programmer.
