Hello all. Was developing a proc that I could use in Prod, acceptance, and unit test libraries. I was hoping to be able to search all libraries for newer versions of sysin cards if in test region. I tried to code it as such..

SYSIN DD DSN=sysinlib1(member)
DD DSN=sysinlib2(member)
DD DSN=sysinlib3(member)

Unlike a steplib concatenation, using this method caused the job to try to process all the libraries and not the first member it found.
Is there any way to accomplish my goal?

Add a step listed in the below topic which copies the member(1st occurance) to a dataset

You would need a pre-step to find the appropriate member and copy to a temp dset. Pass the temp dset to the SYSIN DD.

Search the board for ISRSCAN and ISRLEMX. They are ISPF utilities that search a concatenation and copy the desired member.
