hi all,

are there any tools for generating various reports from vsam file.If so list them and explain in brief how to generate them.

Also let me know of any tools that can gen. reports from db2 tables.

Arv,

DFSORT, Syncsort, File-Aid, Easytrieve, SAS are some of the utilities which can be used for report generation. As for DB2 QMF is the best utility for generating reports

how to add headers, footers and page number in QMF. writing a query will give the desired list of data, but how to add header, page number, date and footer to it.

CA and BMC software has a couple of DB2 report generation tools.
