kanth,
what is this AMUT tool? who is the vendor of this tool?
DASD pooling is a collection of disk volumes that are treated as a group for the allocation of new datasets. By specifying a pool in either the JCL or the pattern definition, you can control the location/placement of a disk dataset.

hi kolusu,
Thanks for your reply, i could understand that the AMUT tool is desinged specifically for our project purpose. I am working in a CRM called PEGA system which resides in mainframes.
If you can provide me info on how we can migrate data from tape to non-pool dasd by any other method that should also help me a lot.
Thanks for all your help.
