				| Hello, Does any body know abt the CONN-DRCT Data Xfer available in mainframe? Is it possible to upload data from other operating system say AS400 directly to mainframe DB2 tables using this? Or we can upload data only to mainframe seq. files using this?

 Regards,
 Bindu

				| Bindu,
Connect Direct a product of Sterling COmmerce is a peer-to-peer file-based integration software optimized for high-volume, assured file transfers. This software basically transfers data between 2 systems.

You can use your local schedueling package(CA-7,Control-M) to load the data transmitted from AS/400 into a DB2 table by setting the job to be a dataset triggered job.

 Hope this helps...

 cheers
