Hello,
When I assign a new user 'TESTUSER', the user can not allocate new dataset at volume. How can I authorizate the user?
Error message as following:
IKJ56893I DATA SET TESTUSER.TEST.OUTPUT2 NOT ALLOCATED+
IGD17207I VOLUME SELECTION HAS FAILED - THERE ARE NO ACCESSIBLE VOLUMES FOR
DATA SET TESTUSER.TEST.OUTPUT2
IGD17277I THERE ARE (8) CANDIDATE VOLUMES OF WHICH (0) ARE ENABLED OR QUIESCED
IGD17290I THERE WERE 1 CANDIDATE STORAGE GROUPS OF WHICH THE FIRST 1 WERE ELIGI
BLE FOR VOLUME SELECTION.
THE CANDIDATE STORAGE GROUPS WERE:USRGROUP
IGD17279I 8 VOLUMES WERE REJECTED BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT ONLINE
IGD17279I 8 VOLUMES WERE REJECTED BECAUSE THE UCB WAS NOT AVAILABLE

THEY WERE NOT ONLINE means you need to Vary the volume online.
THE UCB WAS NOT AVAILABLE means that the volume was not available to IOS(IOS = Input/Output Supervisor which is a software in MVS which has the control Of channel program execution)
You need to get your storage admin folks to put the USRGROUP volumes online.
