Hi all,
Please let me know " how to replace a column position in a file with a specified character with out using REXX?" . I want to know how to do this using tso commands.

for example: I want to replace the 7 th column of every line in a cobol program with *.

Please help me with this.

A simple CHANGE command will do.

Just remember: The CHANGE command is an ISPF EDIT command, not a TSO command.
