Which parameters should be checked from the catalog tables before making a decision on wheather a REORG is required and also can u give me the name of the SYSIBM tables which will be used to decide this?

Meena,

Reorg has got nothing to do with db2 catalog tables. It all depends on your application and your data. Check this link which explains in detail about determining when to reorganize data
