Hi Board,
I need to write a new COBOL & IMS-DB Program(Consisting of Operations on database like "Insertion" and "Updation"). In that I need to implement logic for CHECK-POINT & RESTART.

Can any one help me out what are the considerations to be taken while implementing the logic?

It will be more helpful if anyone tell from scratch onwards.

Inspite of going through the manuals and taking help from team-mates, I want to get information from all of you.
