Hello friends,
I am using a PLI - IMS - DB2 online MPP transaction..the transaction falied with U4000 abend.No clue found in the dump.I am expecting masters help .

Please do not post the same question in more than 1 forum. I deleted your duplicate post. Here is some explanation of U4000 error. See if this applies to you.

REASON Code 2 x'02' - HKVT (House Keeping Vector Table) not found
4 x'04' - IMECIM1-IMESAD level mismatch
7 x'07' - Unresolved external reference in $DIR
8 x'08' - IME????-IME$DIR level mismatch
9 x'09' - Module ID length error
10 x'0A' - "IMODULE GETMAIN" failed
13 x'0D' - IMS-MVIMS release level mismatch
21 x'15' - PST-RAT association table entry in use
30 x'1E' - "IRBRTN" IQEPARM bad
90 x'5A' - Unable to locate MVIMS Event Collector SAD
91 x'5B' - Unable to locate PAS SMD
92 x'5C' - Unable to locate MVIMS Event Collector trace module
93 x'5D' - Unable to locate MVIMS Event Collector CIVT
94 x'5E' - Unable to determine IMS level
SYSTEM The task terminates with a dump.
ACTION
USER Contact BMC Software customer support and have the following
ACTION documentation available:
The S/390 release level, IMS release level, MVIMS release
level and PUT level (browse BBLINK member BALPUTLV).
LOGRECS for the time period several hours before and after
this message
Any SVC Dumps produced by IMS or the MVIMS address space
JES job log/jcl for the IMS Control Region and the MVIMS
product address space

If BMC is not in your shop, then it probably means that there was a failure in the LE environment while attempting to handle a prior abend. You will have to look at the dump as well as look for messages in the DB2 and IMS MPP address spaces as well as SYSLOG.
