Geri,
If you are using emulation software like rumba or extra , then you can change the cursor blink rate. Click on the OPTIONS on the menubar and select DISPLAY and it will bring up a pop-up window. In that select the cursor option and change the blink rate to your choice.
If you are using a dumb terminal with direct connection to the mainframe then you can change the mouse settings.
Control panel ===> Mouse ===> blink rate
Hope this helps..
Cheers

I remember the days of the dumb terminal which had a button that would make the cursor appear to go faster. Essentially it just skipped columns when the key was held down I think.
I have used an emulator (in-house written can you believe!) that had a fast cursor option. The emulator I use now though uses the Windows settings for keystoke repeat rate to determine how fast to move the cursor. I have Attachmate's Extra. _________________ My opinions are exactly that. |

You could actually change the reaction time of the keys on a dumb terminal - how long it would wait for the repeat function to start und how fast you could press the keys again - if you are a fast typer you had to change those to make them keep up with you. Maybe your emulation can be changed too, but then we would have to know what you are using. |
