Hi,

Can somebody provide me a REXX code which will convert a Cobol Copybook format to a FILEAID Copybook Format(File;8 option) format.

hdagar,

Not exactly a file-aid layout but the "Create DFSORT Symbols from COBOL COPYs" Smart DFSORT Trick show you how to generate the position, length, and type of each field. The rexx exec shown in the Trick is used to create DFSORT symbols.
